Embrace the Adventure!

FIND Outdoors proudly manages campgrounds, visitor centers, sales outlets and educational facilities in five National Forests in North Carolina, Georgia and Kentucky.

We value our employees just as much as we take pride in providing excellent customer service to our visitors. Hosts in good standing are given first choice to come back the following season, and the option to go to a different location.

✓ A flexible schedule allows plenty of time for play.
✓ Host sites include electricity, water and sewer hook-ups.
✓ Most have access to WiFi and laundry facilities.
✓ Enjoy the outdoors while providing information to visitors.

Work With Find Outdoors

We have Workamping positions of all different kinds. While most of our positions are paid Campground Hosts, we do also have Campground Manager and Volunteer work camping opportunities.

Campground host positions are designed for couples. Each campground host can expect to work ~25 hours per week and are compensated at a competitive hourly rate. Excellent singles are also considered for campground host positions, but are expected to do the same amount of work as couples.

Campground hosts can expect duties such as: Bathroom cleaning, gatehouse shifts, campsite clean-up, light grounds work, etc… All campground host positions include a full hookup campsite (water, electric, and sewer).

Campground staff are encouraged to explore the surrounding areas with their time off. All of our campgrounds are situated on USFS property, and all offer some sort of recreational opportunity.

Campground Managers work closely with the Headquarters office (based in Brevard, NC) to deliver exceptional customer service, responsible management of campground host staff, and to meet the terms of Forest Service Permits. Campground Managers are the lead point of contact for USFS staff and emergency services. Additionally Managers build work schedules for campground hosts, make deposits, and manage vendor relationships.
